Lee Westwood Ensemble – Nymph Suite & Other Stories

Brighton-based guitarist and composer, Lee is a specialist in DADGAD tuning and he aims to create “eclectic modern lullabies for the steel strung guitar”. He also specifically writes for flute, and after his debut CD, To Sleep (Farewell Songs), received very encouraging reviews across the board, Lee's live performances at Sidmouth Festival and 93 Feet East on London's Brick Lane received unanimous plaudits and he is now promoting the Nymph Suite to further acclaim. Incorporating the considerable expertise of renowned flautist Philippe Barnes, the CD is a peaceful and singularly tranquil series of instrumentals and arrangements (Tales Of Hungary) that is absolutely guaranteed to add to Lee's burgeoning reputation as one of the UK's most exciting and versatile musicians.
